DAVIDE ZAPPACOSTA ARRIVES IN LONDON FOR HIS MOVE TO THE BLUES Davide Zappacosta is set to sign a four year contract with Chelsea and he will earn around 45,000 Pounds a week after tax at Chelsea.  Zappacosta is currently in London with his lawyer, Luca Pastore to finalize the deal and to complete his medicals.  Chelsea and Torino have agree on a transfer fee of 21million pounds

REFEREE NUHU LIMAN BANNED TILL END OF THE SEASON The Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive has approved the Match Review Panel’s recommendation in respect of the MTN FA Cup quarterfinal match between Asante Kotoko and W. NEA Salamina.  The Match Review Panel reviewed the video recording of the match to ascertain whether Referee Yakubu Nuhu Liman was right in awarding a penalty to the home team in the said match played at the Baba Yara Stadium. After  critically  examine the video, the Committee concluded that Referee Liman was wrong  in awarding a penalty kick to Asante Kotoko.  Consequently, the Committee’s recommendation to ban Referee Yakubu Liman for the rest of the season has been upheld by the Executive Committee.

CELTIC TARGET LOAN DEAL FOR PARIS ST-GERMAIN STRIKER Celtic are in talks with Paris St-Germain with a view to securing a season-long loan deal for 19-year-old striker Odsonne Edouard. Edouard, a product of the PSG academy, is yet to feature for the first team. Edouard spent time on loan at PSG's Ligue 1 rivals Toulouse last season, scoring once in 17 appearances. However, that deal was cut short when the player was involved in an airgun incident and in July the teenager received a four-month suspended jail sentence and a fine.

KOTOKO TURNS 82 TODAY Asante Kotoko Sporting Club , also known as   Asante Kotoko   orAshanti Kotoko, is a professional   football   club from   Kumasi -   Ashanti Region in Ghana.  The club was Founded in August 31, 2017 and it is owned by the King of the Ashanti Kingdom. They play home games at   Kumasi Sports Stadium  and are currently  competing in the ongoing    Ghanian Premier League .  They have been champions of the Ghana Premier League a record 24 times, and have won the   CAF Champions League twice.The   International Federation of Football History and Statistics   ranked Asante Kotoko the   African club of the 20th century .  Reuben Acquah signs for  DAC Dunajska Streda Ghanaian defensive midfielder Reuben Acquah has joined Slovakian Super Liga side DAC Dunajska Streda on a four-year deal, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively reveal. The 20-year-old has moved from from Albanian top-flight side FK Tirana where he made 24 appearances last season. Acquah won the Albanian Cup after playing the full duration in the 3-1 over Skenderbeu Korce. "Reuben is a very physically capable defensive midfielder who is also able to play as a midfielder. We have been following it for a long time, and we expect him to give us more flexibility and more options at that position," DAC Sports Director Jan Van Daele said. Acquah is a former player of Ghana Premier League side Liberty Professionals.

LEVANTE IN FOR PEREZ OFFER Levante  have made a loan offer for  Arsenal  forward  Lucas Perez Martinez t he LaLiga side want a striker to bolster their attack and they have set their sights on Perez. Levante are willing to pay Arsenal a €1.5m loan fee and cover the forward’s €3m salary and the Gunners are open to the proposal, even though they would prefer to sell him outright for €15m. The player himself, meanwhile, wants to rejoin his old club Deportivo La Coruna. The Spaniard has been offered to Newcastle United, Roma and Valencia.

SHOCKING- MANCINI TO LEAVE ZENIT Roberto Mancini is being linked with a shock resignation from Zenit St Petersburg, just two months into his reign. According to Corriere dello Sport, Mancini finds himself “in crisis” with Zenit. The newspaper explains it is because of the club’s failure to sign Valencia defender Aymen Abdennour, who ultimately joined Olympique Marseille. Consequently, the former Inter and Manchester City boss would be thinking about stepping down. Zenit are top of the Russian Premier League after eight games and no defeats but have yet to sign a partner for new boy Emanuel Mammana in central defence.

DOL Zone One matches suspended  The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has release a statement on their official site that the ongoing GN Bank Division ONE League matches in Zone one has been suspended as a result of an injunction.  The Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the Division One League Board (DOLB) wishes to inform clubs and all stakeholders in Zone One that Match day 29 games in the zone will not be played as scheduled. This is as a result of an injunction which has been filed to restrain the GFA/DOLB from continuing the Division One League in Zone One. The GFA/DOLB will announce dates for the match day 29 & 30 games.

   LORIENT REJECTS BURNLEY BID FOR WARIS Premier League side Burnley had an £8million bid for Ghana international Abdul Majeed Waris rejected on Monday. Burnley tabled their offer to French Ligue 2 side Lorient in bid to augment their strikeforce having seen Andre Gray move to Watford. Manager Sean Dyche’s search overseas has seen the side sign New Zealand international Chris Wood in an initial club record £15million move from Leeds United last week. And Burnley made a move for Majeed Waris after interest in Deportivo La Coruna’s Florin Andone broke down. It is understood the Clarets have not given up on Majeed Waris entirely before Thursday’s 11pm transfer deadline, but are keeping their options open and could pursue other targets.

NEYMAR VOWS TO BATTLE WITH BARCA OVER DAMAGES CLAIMS  Neymar is to fight a claim by Barca for compensation following his world record move to Paris St-Germain and has promised to battle his former club for bonuses from his 2016 contract renewal which he says he has not be paid. The Brazilian left the Camp Nou this month for a world-record £198m, joining PSG in a move that more than doubled the previous highest fee.  On Monday Neymar said Barcelona deserved “much more” than the current board of directors and added that it made him “very sad”. On Tuesday the Catalan club announced they were chasing €8.5m (£7.8m) in damages, plus the return of an undisclosed bonus due to the player when he renewed his contract to 2021, and a further 10% of that amount in interest. KALINIC TEASES INTER Nikola Kalinic has teased Inter faithfuls after joining arch-rivals Milan. “It was great to score three goals against them…” Kalinic netted a hat-trick against Inter during Fiorentina’s 4-1 win at San Siro in September 2015, and the new Milan striker vowed he would try to repeat those exploits in a Derby della Madonnina.  “It was great to score three goals against Inter. I’ll try to continue with Milan what I did at Fiorentina,”

DORTMUND WON'T NEGOTIATE OVER DEMBELE'S PRICE- HANS- JOACHIM WATZKE Borussia Dortmund insist they will not negotiate with Barcelona over a price for Ousmane Dembele. Dortmund suspended Dembele indefinitely on August 10 when the 20-year-old boycotted training in protest after the German club rejected an initial bid from Barca. The Spanish giants want to sign Dembele to replace Neymar, who left for Paris Saint-Germain for a record £200m. Dembele has a  contract with  Dortmund until 2021 and reports claim the Germans want €130m (£119m) for the player, who signed from Rennes for €15m (£13.7m) last year. "We are prepared to sell him and what we want is on the table," confirmed Dortmund's CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke, putting the ball firmly in Barcelona's court. "When it's not met, Dembele will stay with us. We will not negotiate."
