LJAJIC OUT FOR THE YEAR

Torino midfielder Adem Ljajic’s has suffered a thigh injury that will rule him out for the rest of 2017. The Serbian international came on for Mirko Valdifiori at half-time in the loss to Napoli, but picked up a muscular injury. Today the Granata have confirmed that Ljajic missed today’s training session with the rest of his team mates, with scans revealing “a strain to the right biceps femoris muscle”. Ljajic will be out of tomorrow’s Coppa Italia match with Roma. While further scans are planned for the coming days, Sky reports that the creative midfielder is likely to miss the games with Spal and Genoa, making his return in the new year.

FIGC REVOKES AGNELLI'S BAN

The Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio has lift Juventus President, Andrea Agnelli one-year ban for selling tickets to ultras , but the club’s Curva Sud will be closed for one match. The FIGC’s Federal Court somewhat accepted Juve’s appeal as Agnelli’s suspension has been brought forward to today’s date. However, the 42-year-old will be required to pay a €100,000 fine, while the Allianz Stadium’s Tribuna Sud stand will be sealed off for the Bianconeri’s first Serie A home game of 2018. Finally, the Old Lady have had their fine doubled from €300,000 to €600,000.

WE CAN STOP MADRID-MBAPPE

Paris Saint-Germain new sensational striker Kylian  Sanmi  Mbappé  Lottin is confident that his side can end Real Madrid’s dominance in European football. The French international, who was reportedly a summer transfer target for the Los Blancos, has got off to a fast start with the Parisians, netting 11 goals in his opening 18 starts for the club. “Of course we are able to defeat Real Madrid,” Mbappe told Telefoot, in quotes carried by the Spanish press. “It will be a massive challenge and it will not be easy but our efforts until February will build up to the match and we will be ready. “If you want to win the Champions League you must defeat  the best teams and Madrid are undoubtedly one of them.”a

Suning Group shows interest in Erick Thohir’s shares

Suning Group have reportedly shown interest in buying   Erick Thohir shares at Inter, but the Indonesian is demanding €200m for his 30 percent stake. According to Corriere della Sera, Thohir has rejected Suning’s initial offer of €42.5m for his Inter shares, and will be looking forward for in improved offer. The newspaper further stated that, the Chinese conglomerate has no intention of splashing the cash in January and the takeover could be delayed because that is a major problem facing the negotiation. Suning’s investment in the Nerazzurri has slowed down in recent times, and a €300m bond offering was recently issued to raise capital. Consequently, the club would need to sell before they can buy next month, with Suning’s spending power being curbed by Chinese market restrictions.

INTER FOR MKHITARYAN

According to Corriere dello Sport, Manchester United attacker Henrikh Mkhitaryan has already given the green light to join Inter. The 28-year-old has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford, with BBC Sport reporting there has been “a breakdown of trust” between him and manager Jose Mourinho. The Nerazzurri are expected to be busy in January, but Il Corriere notes they will not “go crazy” as they must “self-finance” themselves in the market.   Inter are “working hard” on a deal to sign Mkhitaryan and have been in touch with his agent Mino Raiola. However, it remains to be seen whether the Armenian would leave United on a loan or permanent basis.

STURARO APOLOGISES TO 12YR OLD NAPOLI FAN

Juventus midfielder Stefano Sturaro has officially apologised after insulting a 12-year-old Partenopei Gli Azzurri fan during a social media row. Sturaro after being provoked and insulted   on his official Instagram account replied the 12-year-old Napoli fan.   “Sorry, Gomorra. Sit down or I’ll embarrass you to such a degree that you’ll cry for three days. Go play with your Pokemon and stop bothering me, you re**rd. “Go cry to your mother, you damn child. Actually, I am at home with your mother.”  This afternoon, Sturaro published an apology on his Instagram. “Often we players are insulted via social networks. We ought to ignore them, but at times the instinct prevails. I apologise to anyone who felt affected by this.”

ZESCO UNITED SHOWS INTEREST IN PAUL AIDOO

ZESCO United have officially sent an offer for Medeama defender Paul Aidoo. Medeama and the Zambian champions have engage in deep negotiations over a permanent fee for the experienced centre back ahead of the new season. Zanco FC and Nkana FC both in the Zambian League have also show keen interest in signing the Ghanaian Center back as they all look to augment their squad for their continental club campaign next year.  Reports indicates that Ghana league champions Aduana Stars are willing to hijack the player from the Zambian Clubs as they also prepares for bussy next season for their second CAF Champions League campaign next term.

NAPOLI IS A GREAT TEAM-RB LEIPZIG CEO

RB Leipzig CEO Oliver Mintzlaff is convinced RB Leipzip has been drawn with a difficult opponent in the Europa League draw. according to him, Napoli is one of the best teams in the competition and the game against the Partenopei. “It is certainly not an easy task, because Napoli are one of the best teams who dropped down from the Champions League,” Mintzlaff told TMW Radio. Mintzlaff   revealed that RB Leipzig is ready to match Napoli booth for booth in the roind 32 of the Europa League  “Having said that, we are ready to play and to do battle with Napoli. We are a club without a big history, who already achieved great things by reaching the Champions League preliminary round and then getting through the Europa League round. “We haven’t set objectives, we play without expectations, but we are happy with this journey and to gain more and more experience, seeing as we are one of the youngest sides still in the competition.
