LJAJIC OUT FOR THE YEAR

Torino midfielder Adem Ljajic’s has suffered a thigh injury that will rule him out for the rest of 2017.

The Serbian international came on for Mirko Valdifiori at half-time in the loss to Napoli, but picked up a muscular injury.

Today the Granata have confirmed that Ljajic missed today’s training session with the rest of his team mates, with scans revealing “a strain to the right biceps femoris muscle”.

Ljajic will be out of tomorrow’s Coppa Italia match with Roma.

While further scans are planned for the coming days, Sky reports that the creative midfielder is likely to miss the games with Spal and Genoa, making his return in the new year.
