INTER TO FINE BROZOVIC


Close source from Inter Milan suggest that the club will fine Marcelo Brozovic, after his sarcastic applause the fans on Sunday.

The Croatian was whistled by the San Siro crowd as he was substituted against Bologna, and he sarcastically clapped his hands at the Nerazzurri fans.

According to sources, neither Coach Luciano Spalletti nor the club appreciated the gesture, and Brozovic will be fined for his actions.

Inter also want him to make a public apology, because owners Suning Group are keen to make sure all Beneamata staff are respectful, even in the face of criticism

LJAJIC OUT FOR THE YEAR

Torino midfielder Adem Ljajic’s has suffered a thigh injury that will rule him out for the rest of 2017. The Serbian international came on for Mirko Valdifiori at half-time in the loss to Napoli, but picked up a muscular injury. Today the Granata have confirmed that Ljajic missed today’s training session with the rest of his team mates, with scans revealing “a strain to the right biceps femoris muscle”. Ljajic will be out of tomorrow’s Coppa Italia match with Roma. While further scans are planned for the coming days, Sky reports that the creative midfielder is likely to miss the games with Spal and Genoa, making his return in the new year.
