INTER IN FOR ERIK LAMELA

Inter Milan have shown interest in signing Érik Manuel Lamela ‘Coco’ from Tottenham Hotspur in a loan deal this winter.

Lamela has been out for more than a year with a hip injury and has eight appearances to his name this season with six of them being from the bench.

The Nerazzurri’s technical advisor, Walter Sabatini, was the man who signed the winger for Roma before selling him on to the English club and Inter are interested in bringing him back to Italy to get more playing time.

That could represent a good solution for Spurs too, as it would allow Lamela to get back to full fitness ahead of next season.

KALINIC TEASES INTER Nikola Kalinic has teased Inter faithfuls after joining arch-rivals Milan. “It was great to score three goals against them…” Kalinic netted a hat-trick against Inter during Fiorentina’s 4-1 win at San Siro in September 2015, and the new Milan striker vowed he would try to repeat those exploits in a Derby della Madonnina.  “It was great to score three goals against Inter. LJAJIC OUT FOR THE YEAR

Torino midfielder Adem Ljajic’s has suffered a thigh injury that will rule him out for the rest of 2017. The Serbian international came on for Mirko Valdifiori at half-time in the loss to Napoli, but picked up a muscular injury. Today the Granata have confirmed that Ljajic missed today’s training session with the rest of his team mates, with scans revealing “a strain to the right biceps femoris muscle”. Ljajic will be out of tomorrow’s Coppa Italia match with Roma. While further scans are planned for the coming days, Sky reports that the creative midfielder is likely to miss the games with Spal and Genoa, making his return in the new year.
