ROMA TARGETS JUANFRAN

AS Roma are willing to secure Juan Francisco Torres Belén away from Atletico Madrid in January, as his contract is due to expire this summer.

The Giallorossi have issues at their right-back department, as Rick Karsdorp has been injured practically since the moment he arrived, with Bruno Peres unconvincing, leaving only Alessandro Florenzi.

According to Spanish newspaper AS, director of sport Monchi has set his sights on Juanfran as a January addition to the squad.


It would be a similar approach to the hugely successful move for Aleksandar Kolarov, who brought experience and impressive fitness levels. But main problem would be getting Juanfran to leave Atletico Madrid after seven years, as he has been there since January 2011.
