BENTEKE RETURNS TO TRAINING

Image result for Christian BentekeChristian Benteke  Liolo has returned to training after recovering from a knee ligament injury in September.
The 26-year-old has missed six games since sustaining the injury in Palace's 5-0 defeat to Premier League leaders Manchester City in September.
However, Benteke joined the Eagles in training at Beckenham on Monday and could be in contention for Palace's game against Everton on November 18 when the Premier League resumes after the international break.
According to Roy Hodgson the Belgian seemed to enjoy being back out on the grass as he put his squad through their paces during another international break," the club said on their official website.
Benteke's return comes as welcome relief to Hodgson, whose team has so far scored just four goals and conceded 22 after getting off to the worst start in league history for an English club.

LJAJIC OUT FOR THE YEAR

Torino midfielder Adem Ljajic’s has suffered a thigh injury that will rule him out for the rest of 2017. The Serbian international came on for Mirko Valdifiori at half-time in the loss to Napoli, but picked up a muscular injury. Today the Granata have confirmed that Ljajic missed today’s training session with the rest of his team mates, with scans revealing “a strain to the right biceps femoris muscle”. Ljajic will be out of tomorrow’s Coppa Italia match with Roma. While further scans are planned for the coming days, Sky reports that the creative midfielder is likely to miss the games with Spal and Genoa, making his return in the new year.
