BENTEKE RETURNS TO TRAINING
The
26-year-old has missed six games since sustaining the injury in Palace's 5-0
defeat to Premier League leaders Manchester City in September.
However,
Benteke joined the Eagles in training at Beckenham on Monday and could be in
contention for Palace's game against Everton on November 18 when the Premier
League resumes after the international break.
According
to Roy Hodgson the Belgian seemed to enjoy being back out on the grass as he
put his squad through their paces during another international break," the
club said on their official website.
Benteke's
return comes as welcome relief to Hodgson, whose team has so far scored just
four goals and conceded 22 after getting off to the worst start in league
history for an English club.
